Neck Pain Treatment with our Ipswich Chiropractor

Chiropractic treatment has been used for neck pain ever since it was discovered in 1895. It seems to have become even more popular over recent years with the changes in which we work. More of us are working at a computer, driving more frequently or highly stressed. This results in more neck pain. Chiropractors treat many types of neck pain including those that can irritate the nerves and cause symptoms into the arm or hand. Your hour-long consultation with our Ipswich Chiropractor will determine the cause of your neck pain. This appointment consists of a thorough history and examination of the muscles, joints and nerves. This in turn will allow him to put together a plan of management going forwards. Our Chiropractor will always recommend what he feels is best for you. This may be referring you to another healthcare professional but often is Chiropractic care. He has seen fantastic results with neck pain in his years in practice.

Our Chiropractor will also recommend practical tips and changes that can make a big difference to the way you respond to treatment.

Treatment is always personalised and can consist of many different things. Chiropractors are known for their adjustments (which may have a 'click' or 'pop' associated) which work very well for neck pain, but this is not all we do. Some people don't like the sound so ask that we don't do this type of treatment. This is fine as we have many techniques that we can use to help address the problems. This may be mobilisations (slower movements of the joints), massage techniques, acupuncture or numerous other things. Most people's treatment will consist of many different techniques as it all comes down to what is best for each person.
