Your Ipswich Chiropractor
Hi, I’m Mykel and I have been a Chiropractor since 2012. In my years as a Chiropractor, I have worked in Chelmsford, Eastbourne and now Ipswich. I moved to Ipswich to be nearer my family and to help the local people with my Chiropractic care. I have seen just what an amazing difference Chiropractic can make and I cannot wait to help you too.
I first discovered Chiropractic when I was 15 and I was suffering with low back pain. This was affecting me a lot with an inability to play sport and difficulty in daily life. I had tried various things, but nothing was helping until I discovered Chiropractic. Like most people, this was through a word-of-mouth referral. My mum’s friend had seen a Chiropractor and gotten great success so recommended it to us. It was fantastic. I had been suffering for quite a while at this point, but Chiropractic treatment made all the difference. I had always been fascinated by how the body worked and now Chiropractic fascinated me to. This put me on my path to becoming a Chiropractor.
Too many people feel how I felt and don’t know what to do. I want to help these people to return to their former selves. Thriving and doing what they want to do, not limited by pain and dysfunction.
Since graduating I have taken part in numerous additional training seminars to progress my practice to ensure that my patients get the best results they can.
I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council and the United Chiropractic Association. I am a licentiate member of the Royal College of Chiropractors as well as a PRT (post-registration training) trainer for newly graduated Chiropractors.
My mission is to provide expert, patient-centred healthcare in an open and caring way, to work with you to achieve your goals.

Your First Visit
On your first visit you will be greeted by our Ipswich Chiropractor. If you have filled out your form prior to your appointment, then you will be taken through for your appointment. If not, then you will be asked to complete some forms before your appointment begins.
Our Chiropractor will first ask you a series of questions about your complaint or complaints (you can discuss as many as you need to). This will include:
· where the problem is
· when it comes on
· what makes it better or worse
and many more things so that he can get all the information that he needs. Our Ipswich Chiropractor will also discuss any relevant medical history that might have an impact in his decision making.
Our Chiropractor will then perform an examination of the muscles, joints and nerves. This will allow him to see what is causing your issues. Following this, he will determine a diagnosis and a plan of action. If he feels that he is not the right person for you to get the best results, he will refer you elsewhere.
During the examination you may be required to change into a gown. This is so that an accurate examination can be performed. Our Chiropractor is very experienced and will always make sure that you are comfortable.
A follow-up appointment will be arranged to take you through a full proposed treatment plan and starting your care.
